This contest begins with a paragraph I wrote, and you take it from there! It will be interesting to see how many different ideas people come up with from the same starting point. It can be any fandom, even original. All genres and age rating allowed. Have fun with it!
Mission: To write a story with the following paragraph as the introduction; "They woke up in a windowless room. It was padded from floor to ceiling, like a room you'd find in an aslyum. The only door had a single slot, big enough for a tray of food or one to peer in. How had they gotten here?"

does the paragraph have to be a part of the story or can it be used as a prologue? See, I'm wondering because I'm confused by the pov of it. If everyone in the room was asleep, I'm not sure whose pov it is. I love the idea of the padded room and two people and all that, just trying to figure out how to get the pov to go with my idea.

The pov begins when they wake up, so it can become whoever's pov then. If you wanted to write first person and change it to "we" instead of "they" that would be fine with me. A prolouge is fine as long as it ties in to the rest of the story. Thanks =)
