Chapter 1

" Wake up you little brat!",my mother yelled fom the bottom of the stairs," I'm going to be late for work if I have to sit here all day waiting for you to get your lazy but out of bed!" I rolled over and glanced at my alarm clock. It read 6:30 A.M.. Oh man, I only have 30 minutes to get ready! Great, my first day of school is starting out pretty badly. " Did you hear me?", my mother screamed," I said get up you lazy bum!" "All right, all right I'm up!", I yelled back calmly. I was used to my mother treating me like dirt. In fact, my whole family treated me like that. My mother, my father, and my 2 older brothers. " I'm leaving now!", my mother yelled," Get dressed then leave you little piece of trash!" I pulled myself out of bed and got dressed. I decided to wear a white T-shirt with a purple bow on it, a short, bright purple skirt, knee length purple socks, and white tennis shoes with purple laces. I then quickly ran a brush through my dark brown hair, took out a purple ribbon with a purple bow clipped on, and put it in my hair.To finish my outfit, I slipped a purple wristband with an odd symbol on it onto my left wrist.
