Time Warp {Under Construction. Do Not Read}

When you meet an ocean, what is your first thought? When you set foot on green earth for the first time, what do you think? When you want freedom from the cure, where do you go? She went somewhere. She went everywhere. Everywhere in time, on earth, in space; in her own mind. She went crazy. Her name is Violet Mcsheer; she is tall with black hair; to her shoulders. She has black eyes and a cat-like nose. This is her story; a story of fear, and fatalities. Can you handle it??

Violet awoke in a forest; alone. 'Crap' she announced 'why does this always happen to me when I'm sleeping?' She ran to her house and waited. *Ring, Ring* the phone buzzed. 'Mum! Get the phone would you?' she called up the wooden stairs of her house. When there came no answer she walked up the stairs and to her mother in the room in front of her. 'Mum, get your lazy asskie out of this bed, and answer the phone!' Violet commanded. Her mother sat up. Her mother's name was Abigail. Abigail had ear length black hair, and red eyes. Yes red eyes; unreal. Abigail picked up the phone and spoke in a rasping tone 'hello?' The person on the other line sounded cheery and gay 'why hello there miss' she said in her southern accent 'how would you like to buy some toner for your printer?' the woman stopped awaiting an answer. Abigail looked up at Violet 'she wants me to buy toner; for a printer. Do we even own a printer?' she asked.Violet yanked the phone away from her mother 'look here missy!' she said in the toughest voice she could muster 'why the hell would you sell us toner? Or anyone by the way? Your job sucks, so save the planet the trouble, and piss off!! Have a nice day ya'll!' Violet finished then slammed the phone on the receiver.

'There was no need for such violence Vi' Abigail said. 'Speak for yourself mum! All you do is yell at the neighbours! You complain that they took a shite in your petunias! Then you get the rifle, which isn't even loaded and...' Violet stopped. 'Was dad ever this violent?' Violet asked.Abigail stood up 'your father abandoned me and you! He said I'll be back! Don't worry! So I never did. But he was never violent, nah, he had a good soul.' She finished. 'How old were you when you met him?' Violet asked.'Ah hell, around eighteen years old I suppose. He was quite a catch he was. I divorced the living hell outta him though, a year after he left' she looked up at the sky through the window, 'stupid man.' Then she got dressed and went downstairs. Violet rushed after her in a huff. 'But mum! The thing I don't understand is that you say stuff like; you went to different worlds with him. Is that a figure of speech or what?' Violet asked when she got sight of her mother again.

'No. we did go to different worlds and times we did. And we traveled around inside a little box,' she giggled 'odd thing, bigger on the inside though. Oh we saw such glorious things Vi!' she exclaimed. Her mother had often spoken about this before; but not as detailed. 'What was dad's name?' Violet asked. She had her mum's attention, why not use it to pester her with questions about her father? 'Sometimes he went by John Smith' Violet looked at her mother 'but his name is The Doctor' she finished. 'But that's not a real name! John is; Doctor isn't! Mum you're not making sense!' Violet exclaimed. 'Well it's not about making sense! It's about truth!' her mother acclaimed.

Violet knew she was strange, even from the time she was twelve. She was trying to listen to her own heart, so she picked apart the shower hose and put one end to her chest and the other to her ear. Then she listened; *boo-bum, boo-bum, boo-bum*. But the only problem was she had the hose on the right side of her body. But what about her father? This man who traveled around inside a blue box? Never mind her mother's eyes, this was unreal. 'I'm going out' Violet announced suddenly. Abigail's eyes shot up at her, 'where?' she asked. 'Anywhere. I'll ring ya, don't worry' Violet finished. She trotted to the door and slipped on her skater shoes. 'That's what he said. Not to worry' Abigail said. Violet's head shot 'round to look at her mother. 'He said don't worry, and then he vanished off the face of the planet' she said veering her eyes out the window. 'I ain't gunna disappear' Violet said kissing her mum on the cheek. And with that, she raced out the door. 'At least you said goodbye' Abigail whispered to herself.

Violet walked away from the cabin that she lived in; a small but cozy cabin. She walked onward in search of something, but she didn't know what yet. When she walked for about an hour, she turned around and sat on a log by a local stream. 'The Doctor, sheesh, what kinda name is *The Doctor*' she said aloud.
