Kagome Higurashi was adopted as a baby, and she led a happy life with her adopted mother Nari. However, when Kagome turns eighteen Nari dies a rare bone disease, but before she dies she gives Kagome a letter from her biological mother and makes her promise to meet her. So in fullfilling her promise Kagome gets to know her family and finds love. She also finds danger from a most unexpected place.
