Introduction

"Sakura, where are you?" a young man with red hair shouted.

All of a sudden, a young girl with pink hair came swinging on a vine laughing,"Here I am!" she yelled. He smiled and grabbed by the waist, closer to himself. He then kissed her hair as she snuggled into his chest.

"How did I ever fall in love with a 14 year old girl?" he asked, she giggled.

"Probably the same way I fell in love with a 19 year old man."

Now, Sasori and Sakura have been together since she was 13 and he was 18. They met while she was crying in the forest one day, though back then she was 5 and he was 10; they got closer and closer..

Flashback

A little girl with pink hair and beautiful emerald eyes was hugging her legs to her body, while crying. Then a 10 year old red-headed boy saw her,"Why are you crying?" he asked her, she looked up. In her opinion, he was gorgeous! She had never seen such a cherubic face before; she felt as if she could get lost in those eyes of his. "Hello, are you okay?" he asked again.

"Huh, oh, sorry. I was crying because um..uh..I can't say."

"Why not?" he asked, walking closer to her, he was about 2 feet in front of her.

"Because, I'm not aloud to talk about it," she looked up at him.

He finally got a perfect view of this little girl's face. She had a black eye, and a couple of scratches along her cheeks,"Who did that to you?" he asked. He was now sitting cross-legged in front of her.

"Can you keep a secret?" the little girl asked innocently.

"I pinky-swear I won't tell anyone whatever it is," he said as he placed hispinky for her to see.

She smiled and put her tiny pinky with his larger one, then they did the pinky-swear. "Alright," she put her pinky down,"It started when I was 3..my daddy came home all drunk. I could smell a woman's perfume mixed with his scent, and it wasn' mommy's. I asked daddy what it was, and he got angry with me, so he threw me all the way to the other side of the wall. He told me never to tell that to my mommy, otherwise he would hurt me more. Then, since that day, my daddy has beaten me up as long as mommy isn't around."

"What does your mommy say about this?"

"My daddy told me to tell my mommy that I just tripped or fell or something like that. But, ever since that has happened, my mommy has never asked me. She doesn't care. Every time it's just me and her in the house, she brings another man from 'work' and is always in her room. Then he leaves; usually 10 minutes later daddy shows up. And mommy always tells me to not tell daddy, or anyone else."

To say Sasori was stunned was an understatement; this poor little girl has had this happen to her, wait how old was she? "How old are you?" he asked.

"I'm 5 years old!" she smiled. "How old are you?"

"I'm 10," he stated simply,"What's your name?"

"Sakura," she got up and did a little kirtzie(dont know how to spell it),"At your service!" she smiled again.

That made him smile; this little 5 year old could smile after what has happened to her. He got up and did his own bow,"It is a pleasure Sakura, I am Sasori." They both giggled, and Sakura had a small hint of a blush remaining on her cheeks. "Sakura, do you have any friends?"

She looked down, "No, people think I'm a vampire because I have pink hair; because it''s an unusual hair color."

"Would you like me to be your friend?" he asked, lifting her chin so she would look at him.

"Really?" she asked excitedly.

"Yes, but on 1 condition."

"What is it?" she asked curiously.

"Take out your pinky," she held out her pinky, and they once again did the pinky-swear,"I'm a vampire."

"Y-You are?" she asked, seeming terrified.

"Are you scared?" she shook her head,"You can tell me the truth, you know?"

"I know," she smiled that adorable smile that makes you want to smile right back at her,"I know I don't need to be afraid around you. You're my first friend, and no vampire could be as nice as you."

He smiled right back at her,"Thanks."

End Flashback

And so from then on, they have been remarkably close. And they got even closer as time moved on; Sasori started liking her that way when he was 15, so she was 10, then she got her feelings for him a year later.
