Sakura's Birthday
It's Sakura's Birthday!
Sakura has an entertaining and enjoyable birthday.
Submitter Notes: Don't own Naruto
Sakura was awakened by the golden rays that shone through her windows.
"What time is it?" she yawned, lazily getting out of bed. Checking her clock, she saw that it was ten o'clock.
"Guess the guys let me sleep in," she mumbled, pulling on her favorite Akatsuki kimono. Sakura had joined the band of miscreants about five months earlier, and was enjoying herself immensely. The hours were good, the pay was great, the other members were awesome, and the work rewarding.
After the girl finished with her hair, she left her room to get some food. The kitchen was strangely empty.
"Where are the others?" she wondered aloud while munching an apple, "A last minute mission?"
Still thinking, she walked into the large common room, which was completely black. She flicked on the light.
"Surprise!" shouted a chorus of voices, and Sakura leapt back, startled. Before her was the entire Akatsuki, grinning madly. The room was brightly decorated, and a banner stretched across the room, reading 'Happy Birthday Sakura!'
She squealed. "You remembered!"
"Of course, Sakura-chan!" replied Deidara, grinning, "We never forget birthdays, yeah!"
Tobi was bouncing up and down, unable to contain his excitement. "I helped with the decorations!" he volunteered.
Sakura patted him on the head. "Tobi is a good boy."
"Let's play a game," said Kisame.
"Yes, let's!"
The first game they played was Twister, which Sakura barely won. Then, they played musical chairs, which turned out to be loads of fun, especially when Kisame sat on Tobi by accident and squished him. Deidara won that game. Next, they decided to have a DDR competition. Itachi stunned everyone with his mad dancing skills, owning anyone who dared to challenge his supremacy.
The dancing made everyone tired, so they decided it was time for cake and ice cream. They sang the happy birthday song, twice, in fact, as Zetsu insisted it was traditional among plants. Sakura blew out all the candles with one breath, so Itachi fell madly in love with her. Then Kisame sliced the cake, which was a five-layer chocolate cake, and Deidara scooped out the ice cream, which was Fudgemallow Delight. After they ate all of the cake and ice cream, Tobi brought out the piƱata, which was shaped like Sasuke. Of course, everyone wanted to hit Sasuke in effigy, so there was not much left of it when the game was over. Strangely enough, no candy came out, which was sad. Later they learned that it actually was Sasuke, who had cleverly disguised himself so he could have a chance to kill his brother. Needless to say, it didn't work out the way he had planned.
Finally, Sakura got to open her presents. From Kisame, she got a rubber ducky with laser vision. Zetsu gave her a magic jar of peanut butter which would never go empty. Deidara gave her a set of hairpins which doubled as eye-gougers. Tobi gave her a fluffy white bunny which she named after him, as the bunny was a good boy. Lastly, Itachi gave her a shiny ring and they ran off and got married that very night.
All in all, it was a great birthday.
