A/N: I don't own any Pirate's characters or places except Sara, Emily and Rachel so don't sue. Also, I have to give credit to chelly_leiann324 for giving me some great ideas. Some of the ideas toward that end of the whole story where taken from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I don't own that either, but it's a great movie! Most of what is in here in known history, so technically I'm not stealing from Indy.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Search for the Gold City
As night fell over the Caribbean, the Black Pearl sailed into Port Royal. With Captain Jack Sparrow as the helm, the ship just seemed to glide over the water.
"Alright gents, and lady, tie 'er up and dowse the lamps!"
Aye, Cap'n." the crew answered.
"Sara! Where for art thou Sara? I swear I will turn you over the Davy Jones if you are in my cabin with that man!"
"Relax, Jackie, we were in my cabin." Jack turned to see his 18 year old daughter standing behind him. With her was Jack's first mate Hector Barbossa.
"And what were you doing in your cabin?"
"Plotting courses, drinking rum, playing with your compass, you know, pirate stuff." she answered.
Jack opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by a voice calling to them.
"HELLO, UP THERE!"
"Will!" Sara threw herself over the side of the ship to meet William Turner and Elizabeth Swann.
"Oh, it's so good to see you. Do you still have my hat?"
"Of course." he handed it to her. "Oh, and why I was here, I ran into a friend."
"Hello, Miss Sparrow."
"Captain Norrington. It's Sara, if you please. What brings you to the docks?"
"You remember my brother, John? the one that married your cousin Annabelle?"
"Oh, they did marry her off! I wonder how they managed that." Sara said, laughing with Will.
"Moving on." Norrington sounded annoyed. "I got a letter from him the other day, saying that you, your father and crew are all welcomed to stay with them for a few days."
"Hold on, the last time I saw her was at my mother's-" she stopped suddenly. "At my mother's funeral." she finished quietly.
Seeing that Sara was near tears, Will asked the next question.
"What does Annabelle want with her?"
"I don't really care. Are you going or not, because I would like to get home at a reasonable hour."
"Yeah, why not. Tell them we'll be there."
"Good, the carriages will be here at eleven tomorrow. Good night." he tipped his tri-corner hat and walked off into the darkness.
"I guess we're sleeping on the Pearl tonight. Do you realize he was civil this time? Something's going on here." Sara spectated.
"I guess so. Well, while you're sleeping on a dingy boat I on the other hand will be sleeping in a nice warm bed with a soft pillow and-OW!" he screamed. She brought her foot down hard on his.
"That happens to be my home you're talking about, and if that's a dingy boat, I would hate to see a real ship. I'll be sleeping in a warm bed, too. It's just on a ship instead of in a house. I guess I'll see you two tomorrow then? You're coming, right?"
"Wouldn't miss it." Will told her. "Pleasent dreams, Sara."
"Good night Will. Elizabeth."
"Good night, Sara." she walked off With Will.
Sara walked back to the ship's starboard side and looked up. "JACK SPARROW!"
"SARA SPARROW!" his face appeared over the railing.
"A little help please!" she called.
"Right." his face disappeared and a line took it's place. She pulled herself on deck before telling Jack about there long day tomorrow.
"Thank you. OK, I'm just going to cut to the chase. Do you remember Annabelle, mother's cousin?"
"How could I forget a face like that?"
"Funny. Anyway, they married her off."
"They did? I wonder how they managed that."
"You and me both. Bottom line, we've been invited to stay for a while and I said we would."
"Really? And why was I not informed of this?"
"Because Norrington gave me the news and he was being a pain in the side."
"Reasonable. So...what do we do now?"
Sara looked at Barbossa stunned.
"Why not tell the crew?" she was now looking at Jack.
"Oh yeah!" he "Cap'n Jack Sparrow" walked to the helm.
"Gentlemen! It has come to my attention, due to events beyond my control," he glanced at Sara, who smiled and waved. "...that we have been invited to stay at an English house so...uh...huh..."
