I took this with my old Canon film camera while leaning out of a window in my high school. It was raining heavily and the water was landing on the concrete in an unusual way, so I thought I'd snap a pic. One thing I love about photography with actual film is the excitement I feel when I get the pictures back and they look as cool as this.

Here's a pic I took at a concert that a friend of mine's band was performing at. I can't remember anything about his guitar player except that we always called him Naked Josh because he would always lose his shirt in a mosh pit. This is one of my mom's favorites and I figured I should enter one in color since I already entered on in black and white.

Yeah, if it was in open fields I would have wanted it to get intense, but since it was in a residential area it was a relief! Thanks for reviewing!
Warning and Relief in One Shot
Wow, this picture turned out so clear. It has a foreboding look, hovering over those houses. I'm happy to hear it did no damage this time. I know those homeowners were happy about that.

I have never seen a tornado other than on TV. Are you a storm chaser? I am about to move to Kansas, so I think I need to get used to seeing this. Great pic! How close were you?

I am an amateur storm chaser. I do volunteer work for the local news stations and send in my photos and videos for them to broadcast. I was probably about 400 yards from this one, it looks a little closer in the picture. It only touched the ground for about 10 seconds before it went back up into the cloud.
