Leaving Camp

The morning sun was bright and it aggrivated Tally.For the first few minutes when she woke up she forgot where she was and why she was there, but then she remebered Zane.But to herself she silently thought that she wouldn't take the pills that Maddy would give her and not believe anybody,but then she told herself, "I have to do this for Zane and everybody else.

As they checked to see if the hoverboards were still there (because they never tied them down or anything and it was a bit windy that night) Maddy and David talked while the others ate breakfast and cursed at the sun.

David wanted to ask his mother something but it just wouldn't come out of his mouth, but it eventually did.

    "Mom, are you glad Tally is finally with us?"

     "Of course i am sweetheart but before we leave camp she must take the pills so they can start full effect.We don't need a selfish,whiney bubblehead on this whole journey." She chuckled. He gave her an I-cant-believe-you just said that look.

   " Even if she didn't take the pills mom she wouldnt be selfish and whiney, because she changed herself, but I guess if it's for the best then she should take them." He thought, and stared at the ground."I hate seeing her like this,i really do."

    She looked at David, grabbed him to a halt, looked into his eyes and said , "you love her don't you?". He never answered, instead he ran back to camp.

   At camp Fausto looked at Tally and saw the worry in her eyes.

"Don't worry Tally-wa, we'll save Zane and Shay , and everybody else.But this will take time and we can't do this while you're still self-centered and whiney."

"Yes Fausto I know. I'm going to ask Maddy as soon  as she gets back." She looked at him blankly for a second thinking over everything, then, she saw David coming , so she got up and ran towards him. "Hey there, i need to tell you somethign and i proboably think you know this but i need to take the pills before i regret what i'm saying.'

"No problem" He laughed."My mom has them with her and she was already intending to give them to you wether you like it or not.And while we wait until she gets here introduce me to your "Pretty friends"," he said in a sarcastic manor.

When they reached the campthey all got introduced,Maddy had finally come back with the gathered up hoverboards and help pick the rest of the camp up.

        "Maddy."Tally said "I need the pills before I change my mind."

       "Yes sure here they are, remember to take BOTH you don't want what happened to Zane to happen to you.If you take both now you should be more normal in a week tops."

"Thanks."

 They were leaving camp and noticed scince Tally lost her board yet again she would have to share with David like the days in the Smoke when she forgot her board or if it wasnt charged.They were riding along the river and stopped. There were four ways, one led back to where they were and the other headed directly to the green belt.The other two, one led to the ocean and the other just headed on to God-knows-where. So they went that way, hoping not to get lost.They ridin so far nothing could be sent, no pings no nothing they were good.Noticing they made good timing going as fast as possible they decided to set up camp for the night lay out the hoverboards to get the last bit of sun, eat, and discuss everything.While preparing the food Croy got curious and asked "how much farther?," Maddy looked at David ad David Looked at Croy.

"Not Sure." That's all he said then there was a ping from the purifier and the food was ready.

"Right," Replied Croy and ate Tally's most hated food.. SpagBol.

While they were talking Tally snuck off to be alone.She climbled a tree and just sat there thinking over everything scince the night she looked over at New Pretty Town wishing she was there and out of her ugly dorm.

"Hey there." It was David.

"How did you find me?"

"Hmm let's see biggedt tree highest branch, you do the math"

"Well I guess I'm just so predictable."

"Why did you go off?You know we could've left you," He joked.

"Uhm No reason really, wanted to be ugh you know in the quiet."

"That doesn't sound like a pretty to me."

"Yeah well I guess .. nevermind."

"What?"

"I don't know how the hell i'm suppose save Everybody, how am i going to do that?"Before he answered she grabbed him and jumped out of the tree.Her flash tatto spinning widely and Dabid's heart beating so loud.They laughed.
