He grinned...The famous Potter grin that would make each and every witch go crazy over him. He ruffled his golden blond hair,unusual for a Potter or a Weasley,But he had gotten that from his great great uncle Fabian,at least thats what his grandfather-Weasley said.He looked himself in the mirror.

He was wearing a Dark green muggle t-shirt with tight black pants,latest in wizard fashion according to Witch Weekly-courtesy his cousin Victoir.

James Sirius-Remus Potter was staring at himself in the life-size mirror,trying out different pick-up lines.He had picked up this habit from his fifth year,when he had learned acindo charm-which made things life-size,and just for the sake of practicing OWL's he had turned his handsome pocket mirror in to a life size one,Which now hung,rather majestically,across his bed in his very own Head boy Dormitory.

He gazed himself in the mirror for five minutes and then tried almost a overly sincere- charming smile and said in his deep voice,

Were you arrested earlier? It's gotta be illegal to look that good.

he smiled at his new-pick up line look,and bent down upon his battered copy of "Twelve safe ways to charm witches"which had been handed down to him by his dad,as a coming-of age side gift on his last birthday.James, for once had memorized the whole book ,as he had promised his dad to hand it down to his younger brother Albus,this year,when he comes of his age.

If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.

This one was a huge success with the blond Ravenclaw Charlie Cruz.The first one had got him,Ashley,Stephanie,and Alicia.While,the second one was unusually famous with Slytherins,given the dark edge to it.

This he had picked up from Witch-Weekly once,and had never tried,He repeated it with different types of voices,as to see which suited it better.

"A bit corny,don't you think?" Maya Fay,was leaning against his door.Her curved body clearly hidden beneath her school robes.Her long treacherously black hair,which reminded one of dark magic of seduction carelessly fallen over her shoulders.

"What,How did you get in..?" He looked a bit uncomfortable,not being used to peeking girls over his bedroom.

"You kept the door open,and unless you haven't noticed,your sweet talk to yourself can easily be heard in the next room ,that is mine,and I'm sure you may have a very good reason to seduce yourself in front of the mirror,But, keep your voice down.." Apparently it wasn't only her body that was referred as hot in 7th year,but also her temper and sarcastic humor.

"You wanted something.?" not intimidated by her sharp remarks,James coolly asked.

"When is the quidditch tryouts?"noting that this guy was not easily intimidated by her looks or her temper she cut short.

"Ah,so you noticed that I got to be the captain?" He smirked "Well,I'll leave a notice in Gryffindore common room and you will be informed." He said with an air of superiority.

Since fifth year he was hearing his fellow classmate's who also was a strong competitor in every thing's snide remarks about her having the privilege of being a prefect.She undoubtedly was just as good as he was in quidditch,and they both were strong competitors for the captain's post,But he had got it,along with Headboyship.Though she was also made Head girl,thus both ended up sharing a dormitory.

She shot a dirty look at him and strode down.She knew that she had been unfair to that thick headed, conceited Potter in her fifth year,but eventually she had stopped annoying him,being just bored of it.But she knew that Potter hadn't forgotten it,and even though she had saved him in sixth year from detentions,He would give her a hard time,him being the quidditch captain.

Fay and Potter had been competitors since their very first year,From school marks to pranks to popularity.The difference was that Potter being the eldest son of the famous Harry Potter and international quidditch player Ginny Potter had gained popularity the day he entered through the great oak doors for the first time.While,being a muggleborn and completely clueless about the magical world till 11 years of her life,she had gained popularity by her intelligence,uncanny Gryffindore Daring, and beauty.Her non magical background was also the reason why she wasn't impressed by the Potter's background or his family influence.Though he was very good looking but his arrogance always got better of him.Which inconveniently was the opinion of hers only,Everyone else thought he was a perfect gentleman.Which made Maya more angry.

"What are you so angry about.?" Ashley greenwood asked her during charms.

"Well,you of course don't have to share a dorm with Potter for one,and he wouldn't be bullying you the whole year cause he is the quidditch captain." She fumed.
