Disclaimer: I do not claim to own any of the characters in the Transformers universe except the OCs. If you want to read up more on Surge and Sparkshot, Check out the fiction in which they debuted "A New Threat Emerges"
Author's Announcement: To make things fun and interactive, there are several "Hidden Eggs" throughout the Fanfiction. See if your imagination can find them all.
Author's Note: Though it has not been released as to whether or not a similar occurance will happen in the continuity family you can't expect them to just blow off the nation's biggest celebration of the year for german dubbing interfearances. They did halloween, so why not show off American Pride?
Unweary construction workers soon found themselves fleeing the site in fear as they came face to face with certain doom by the name of Rickshaw.
"Alright! Finally some fun!" A camo painted ATV transformed, revealing that of the psychotic and hyper Anchorbait as he begins to fire randomly into the crowd of humans.
"I have to agree with Imbecile. Frankly I've felt as though rust was beginning to set in." A routemaster bus transformed, Relapse entering the scene.
"Can it brainiac. You've been "jousting" all this week." Speedbump approached to stand beside the now transformed Rickshaw. Above, a concorde jet flew overhead, spotting certain trouble as it approached.
"Autobots flanking us from the north-east cap'." Glancing upward, they watched as Jetlag transformed, ready to take on the oncoming party crashers.
"Darn autobots, they're always crashing our parties!" Anchorbait fired at a truck that was evacuating the area. Having struck it, the truck flew into the air, crash landing on it's hood.
"Bullseye! Heheeheehahaa!" Anchorbait laughed delightfully as he watched the humans crawl out of their overturned vehicle and continue on foot.
"Autobots approaching in 3-2-1.." Jetlag collided with Soundbyte as the group met. Both sides seemed even matched, atleast till Blockade got the upperhand on Rickshaw as he was punched into the bone structure of a building.
"You're a bit too slow for your own good dude!" Mudslinger taunted Anchorbait as he tried to shoot the autobot off his feet.
"For an old 'bot, you've got guts." Rickshaw leaps out of the building, power driving Blockade away from him. The aging autobot gained his footing however and turned back to face his old nemesis.
"As the humans say, Rickshaw. With age comes wisdom."
"And yet you never put that wisdom to use!" He fires a canon at Blockade, only for him to knock it into the air where it explodes into a fiery display. However, victory was cut short as a blast struck Blockade directly in the chest, sending him back and into a crane. Every autobot amongst the battlefield paused, risking a beating to see that their leader was down. Opening fire on the autobots, a larger decepticon deployed null-rays, temporarily disabling them as Rickshaw turns to face the newcomer.
"Ahh, Starscream. Been many mega cycles since we've last crossed paths hasn't it? Still chasing ghosts?" Rickshaw smirked, instantly recognizing his cousin.
"I see these years of being earthbound have made ya soft. You can hardly keep up with four puny autobots." Starscream finds himself avoiding a laser blast to the face.
"Oh I'm still the same old decepticon you remember years back, Cousin. And never forget that I was the one who shot down the Mobius when you're puny ship couldn't even dent it." He gets into Starscreams face, his annoyance towards his 'cousin' showing clear as day. Seeing this as his chance to drop the bomb, Starscreamed smirked and spoke smoothly.
"I hear you keep getting bested time and time again by a mere insect." He knew he struck a chord as he watched Rickshaw's anger rise.
"I'm merely here to remedy that situation... For a price ofcourse."
"What exactly could you offer?" Rickshaw begins to pressure Starscream back as he encroached upon him.
"I've seen the Allspark. It's well and in the hands of other earthbound autobots."
"And you're the one telling me I can't handle four weakling autobots. Why exactly do you need my help when you clearly have an upper advantage?" Rickshaw glanced towards the rest of the autobots who were beginning to stirr.
"You see, cousin, I am rallying suc--soldiers. As they say, there is strength in numbers." His smirk evolved into a grin as the hulking mass that was Rickshaw stood in thought.
"So, what's the point of this "Independent's day"?" Prime stood off to the side as he witnessed several red, white, and blue flags being posted everywhere. Around them, the citizens seemed to take delight in the decorative displays, yet it left the rookie leader a bit flabbergasted.
