Hi and thank you for your entry to the contest! I want to commend you on your excellent spelling, More »
Mission
deadline 03.02.08 | 12.00 PM PST

Your mission is to create a story based on the idea of "What if?" This means that you can take any point in your fandom's history and change it. Example: What if Ross and Rachel never went on a break? You choose the scenario. Maybe you need to fix what you thought was the biggest mistake in your fandom, whatever you want! Just think: "what if?"

This is a haiku-style poem based loosely on the X-Files episodes "Piper Maru" and "Apocrypha"--my favorite episodes! Hopefully, if you know of them, you'll see the resemblance in the poem and in the episodes.

This song describes the wonder someone feels in looking at the world. It's for the contest Lyrics Aren't For Losers. I actually wrote a song for these lyrics, so they're not based on anything. Hope you enjoy it! (And Bengosha is Japanese for 'defender'.)
CONTEST: Lyrics aren't for LosersBy starbase11, from Stargate: SG-1
This is based on the song "I am the very model of a modern Major General" from Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance". When I heard that O'Neill was going to be a Major General in the newest movie, Stargate Continuum, I thought that it would be perfect to rewrite this for him! Even though it's somewhat of a joke, this isn't meant to be derogatory at all. For me, it's just fun!
