Foolish Blood
Foolish Blood - a story by Girl6
The day was bright and uncharacteristically warm as I made my way across the Academy quadrangle toward Cochrane Hall. I say 'uncharacteristically' rather than 'unseasonably' because all seasons in the San Francisco Bay were cold and damp, and of all the many natural micro-climates that dotted the hilly peninsula on which the City was built, a warm day was a true rarity at the Presidio.

Spock falls ill on the way to an alien planet. There, Kirk disappears, kidnapped by some strange, unknown lifeform. Will McCoy be able to help them both in time? Story complete.

Gorgeous!
What a beautiful portrait of young Spock! You really are a great writer and artist.
Re: Gorgeous!
Thanks, tleba.
You did it again!!!! or before....
This is even more beautiful than your Quinto piece! I love his eyes - you do such justice to his eyes! Is this a chalk? Whatever it is, you seem to love your subject in this medium. Do you get paid for this? You should really get paid for this! Maybe you could just do half a painting, then post it and hold the other half for ransom. I'm sure there's enough of us on here to come up with a pretty penny when we pool our resources ;)

Re: You did it again!!!! or before....
Actually, this is digital art and I made it to look like a painting. If it's anything, it would be watercolour, I suppose. LOL! No, I don't get paid for doing the paintings. Nice thought but then it would be work and not so enjoyable. I'd feel pressured and stressed. So I think it better if it stays a hobby.
I think you got spot on!
Actually I think you it have ears on. You tackled what I would consider a very difficult subject, and made it look very good. From what I understand ears and noses are very hard to do. Take a bow Caz....well done.
Re: I think you got spot on!
Many thanks , Tom. Spock has a very distinctive face so in fact he's much easier to do than Kirk for instance.
