Day by day Dexter

It's morning and I am off to work in the typical Miami heat accompanied with crazy Miami drivers..it could turn anyone into a serial killer. Stopping for the customary cup of java and a box of the best Boston creme donuts in town. I know it will keep my co-workers off my case if they are shoving donuts into their mouths. Especially Debs. She always wants to know what I am up to but that is on a need to know basis. What I am up to is keeping a close eye on a gentleman by the name of Donnovan. He has lots of the "Harry code" qualities, but I have to put people like that on the back burner...well not literally. Because of one uneasy detective named Doakes. He has been giving me that uneasy look of "I'm on to you..psycho". And I believe him. So I have been laying low. Grocery shopping, running errands..even a little housework. I have even taken up gardening...which I know nothing about. It just gives me a reason to poke around in my yard and wave at the neighbors. Sprinkler systems and potting soil are no fun to me but I find lots of interesting things at the hardware store. They have a lot of my favorite things..like duct tape and knife sharpeners. Morning meeting went well, I avoided just about everyone. Lots of nods and thanks for the donuts, but off to my cubby to be alone with my thoughts on Donnovan. On the computer it took no time to bring up his past. Played football in college, whippy. He has a sick fetish, like half the population, with porn. But this one likes kiddie porn. And I will not have him hurting children. Which that is exactly what I believe he is doing. Too may kids slip threw the cracks. Once I have all my rubber duckies in a row, he will meet me and my fishing line.
