Confessions Of Love

The group stood around the well, saying goodbye to Kagome, forever this time, they beat Naraku, and Kagome didn't have a purpose to be in that era anymore.

Sango, Miroku, and Shippo left off, to find somewhere to stay, since Shippo didn't have anywhere to stay, and he was terrified of the idea of staying with Inuyasha, so he was going to stay with Sango and Miroku.

"Kagome" Inuyasha said before the miko jumped down the well, and never came back.

Kagome looked up at him, tears still wet on her face, and some un-shed tears glistening in her brown-eyes.

"Just come with me" Inuyasha demanded, he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to the tree were they first met, not far from the well.

"What?" Kagome asked, looking down, not wanting to look at him, afraid if she did she would burst out in tears, knowing it might be the last time she would ever be able to see his face again, his long silver hair, fire-rat haori, amber-eyes, and, most importantly, his dog-ears, which she couldn't help but touch the first time she saw him.

"I should tell you something, before you leave" Inuyasha said. He put a clawed finger under Kagome's chin and tilted her head up to look at him.

Kagome took a deep breath, trying to stop the tears from falling. Looking straight into Inuyasha's liquid gold eyes.

Inuyasha didn't say anything, he leaned down and touched his lips to hers in a passonite kiss.

Kagome kissed back, letting her tears fall freely, knowing this is their first, and probably their last real kiss. (I know, in the second movie, but that was just so Inuyasha wouldn't transform, Kagome had no idea what else to do, so ha!)

Inuyasha moved his hands to her back, pulling her closer, closing the distance between their bodies.

Kagome, in turn, entwined her hands in Inuyasha's hair.

Their tongues dancing and teasing each other, taking advantage of the moment.

Kagome pulled back breathless and inhaling her own tears. She started to sob, and held onto Inuyasha.

"I'm sorry" he said, his amber eyes also fileld with tears.

"No...I just...I can't...handle this" Kagome sobbed. She started to run away from him.

Inuyasha ran after her, and caught her by the wrist again.

"Let me go...I have no reason...to be here" Kagome said, still sobbing.

"Yes you do!" Inuyasha yelled, turning the crying miko towards him.

Kagome got control of her sobs and looked up at him, un-shed tears still in her eyes. "What?" she asked, trying not to look at him, but not succeeding to.

"Me, I love you, I can't live without you...Please, stay" Inuyasha begged.

"Inuyasha" Kagome sobbed, hugging him, burying her head in his chest. "I will" she continued.

Inuyasha smiled, and stroaked her hair, until she stopped crying.

"I love you too" Kagome whispered, setting her head on his shoulder.

Inuyasha picked her up, and walked back to the tree, sitting down with Kagome on his lap.

"I have another question" Inuyasha said softly, looking at Kagome, the tear stains still fresh on her face. He took the sleeve of his haori and wiped the tears away.

"What?" Kagome asked, smiling.

"Will you be my mate?" Inuyasha asked, hoping with all his heart that the answer will be 'yes'.

"Of course" Kagome whispered. She reached up and removed the beads from Inuyasha's neck.

"Why did you do that?" Inuyasha asked.

"I don't think I have to worry about you going off to see Kikyo anymore" Kagome replied.

Inuyasha moved his head down to Kagome's neck.

"What are you doing?" Kagome asked.

"Marking you as mine" Inuyasha said, before he peirced her skin with his teeth.

Kagome cringed.

Inuyasha pulled his teeth out of her skin, and licked the wound.

Kagome relaxed a little when she felt Inuyasha's tongue on the burning wound.

"Now, Koga can't come near you, or I have the rights to kill him" Inuyasha said, when he got done licking the blood off from Kagome's neck and shoulder.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled, she stood up, put the beads back around his neck and said "sit boy!", and he crashed to the ground.
