Sometimes it's better to sleep through New Year's Eve.
Every year, my uncle would dress in a diaper, get out a cowbell, then walk the streets of New York on New Year's Eve... ringing in the New Year as Baby New Year.

You aint kidding! My uncle was quite a character... Miss him a lot!
His job for a while was painting the little yellow lines down the middle of the street. If you notice the trim on the walls, it - um, coincidentally! - is a nice shade of yellow...
