I for one would like to be able to search for fics using more than tag. For example if I am searching in the CSI fics and I choose "Sara" and "Grissom" it only show the ones that use both the tag words, but it would be nice to have the option of getting results that use both or just one. So maybe you could choose, I don't know say five different words and any matches for any of the words would come up, not just ones that match all five. I hope I am explaining this right.
Thank you darsynia!

<i>I would also like to bring up another issue that I have brought up in the past. This the lack of a "femslash" catagory. While it is nice to see a "gay and lesbian" catagory, this does not always encompass femslash. It is simply not adequite for writers of f/f stories to have only "gay and lesbian" or "slash" as options for catagorizing their pieces. </i>

I agree with this but for different reasons. Slash isn't 'gay fiction'. It's slash. It's women writing men. Slash does not address 'gay issues' except where they apply to the story and it does not attempt to re-create the gay lifestyle or agendas. It's very important if you're going to go mainstream with this that you make it stridently clear that slash isn't 'GAY'.
I think you can really shoot yourself in the foot if you try to label slash as 'gay and lesbian'. I think the solution proposed above is good. Slash, femslash, het and gen. And if you want, put in 'gay and lesbian' but keep it clear that fanfiction plays by its own rules with regard to orientation.

You are partially right that slash isn't gay. Some slash isn't and some slash can be. But it cannot be labeled overall as gay. And most slash is written by straight women, but that is not always the case. There are men who write it. Most femslash is written by lesbians, however.
Can you explain this further? What exactly makes something slash?
Just to add to the Quicklist comment, our computer deletes cookies automatically on a very regular basis, and I think this is why I keep losing my Quicklist. Unfortunately because of this I have stopped using the feature, but I would REALLY like to see it altered so I can use it again - I loved that this feature was available!
Uhm, there might be a problem if "A" is for both "All audiences" and "Adult". *shrugs*
Why does my Quick List keep disappearing? I may be doing something wrong, but I don't know what. It has happened twice now.
I am having a similar problem to the dashes. When I upload my work all of the quotes and apostrophes are doubled. For example:
""What''s he talking about?"" Instead of "What's he talking about?"
