15000 characters... that's ridiculous! D:<

LOL! For the Kirk vs. Picard contest it was only 7500 characters. I refer you to my own protest of said limit at the time: a parody called "7500 characters."

(Maybe it'll make you feel better... it sure made ME feel better!)

Sooooo ... I'm curious to know, have any of the other winners received their prizes yet, and if not, about how long does it generally take for them to be sent out? I'm asking because it's been a month now, and no word about it. I'm starting to wonder.

Hi! It can take a little while before prizes go out so I wouldn't worry. As long as you've been contacted and we have your information, etc, you should be fine.

Stormlight, you're in good company. So don't worry. It must be taking a bit more TLC to get those "Wake skins" on.

While you're waiting, you could read some of the Speed Racer entries. They're based on one of the first animes (something I recently learned), and I know you've written some anime stuff before.

The FM3 Buddha Machine arrived today. I love getting mail!

I quickly tore open the envelope and colorful box, popped in the two AA batteries that were included, and turned the volume up. Cool. MUSIC!

Still having a million questions on the machine's capabilities, I rummagaed for the instructions. But the few I found were in Chinese, so I checked out the web site stamped on the side of the unit.

LOL I will definitely have to learn Chinese one day. But something else caught my eye in the on-line assembly pic. Could there actually be a little Buddha inside (as shown)? I shall have to disassemble it now to find out.

For the other finalists who won Buddha Machines, one of the most helpful web sites I've found on the little sensation is: http://www.popmatters.com/music/reviews/f/fm3-buddhamachine.shtml

Thank you again, Fanlib and Simon & Schuster, for the fun prizes!

Mine arrived today, too (the Ipod and book arrived last week, and both are great). The batteries were dead, though, and at first I thought it was broken, until I thought to try putting new batteries in. It's an ... interesting little doohickey.

Lol, what music does it play? Those Buddha machines sound cool.

I got my Fanlib journal about two days ago (my second one; I love these things)! And today I got my autographed book. It was packaged perfectly - I expected little dents in it, but there were none. And, a nice surprise, it had a t-shirt inside, too.

I love Fanlib. Thanks you guys, and Simon & Schuster!

Thank you, fanlib and Simon & Schuster,

The Wii has arrived! Besides it being fun, the skin on it is very nice. lol Everyone here says it makes them sleepy though, with the pillow on it.

The Wake contest was a fabulous experience.

Thank you again,

Yay, you got your Wii! Congrats! And thank you for my prizes as well, the book was a good read and I love my ipod and my quirky lil' buddha machine. It was entertaining watching my puppy's face as he listened to the sounds, lol.
