lol I had that problem yesterday. Could barely sleep at all during the day (I work third shift) until they finally announced who won. After that, I had no problem sleeping.

I dunno about anyone else, but I'm relieved the contest is over. All that waiting was killing me.

Now, I wonder what the next one will be ...

Waiting is hard. Especially the submission period in this one - it was excruciatingly long and I couldn't stop checking up on my submission.

I, too, am excited for the next one.

heh heh. Well, that depends on what they are. So far, they haven't hosted any contests I've been interested in because I don't follow any of the fandoms they've been sponsoring. The dream writers contest was the first I could actually write for. Now, if they start hosting contests for more original writing that I could actually take part in, then yeah, I can see myself joining in future contests.

Of course, the one thing I don't particularly like about these contests is that the rights to any submission entered (at leas the ones that make it into the finals or win) are then owned by fanlib, if I read the rules correctly. Which means I can't submit Dream Walker to any other website to be read, including my own, or to magazines or such in the future. So I'll probably be choosing any future original submissions very carefully from here on out.

First, congrats to all the winners.

Just wanted to shoot the idea of now that the contest is over and everybody's isn't scrambling to read and rate and then read and vote... if anybody else could take the time to check out my entry, since it didn't make it in on time apparently.

I'd like to thank the three that did bother to review my story, it made it easier to take that it wasn't submitted on time when I know it was. Nevertheless...

Anybody that wants a good read (apparently as per the reviews), check it out, I'd appreciate it a lot. The last bit of it does have a few mistakes as I was rushing to submit a couple minutes before deadline, so don't mind those haha.
