First of all u kill Naraku by killing his heart wich he detached from himself inthe fouthr season.Second I HATE IT THE U PUT KAGOME AND KOGA TOGETHER INU + KAG 4 EVER.Otherwsie it was pretty good also RIN + SESSHOMARU 4 EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cute, though the last part was very rushed. I would have liked to see more of Anzu and Kaiba's developing relationship, especially as it progresses from a polite lunch to a nice dinner to an actual "dating" relationship. Half the fun in Azureshipping is getting Kaiba to admit he's doing something because he WANTS to, and it's not related to Kaiba Corp. or Duel Monsters. Getting him to admit affection is a whole other hurdle in and of itself, and for a fic like this that bothers to set the start of the relationship up, it seems kind of like cheating to not include the actual moments when they started to become friends, then more than friends. I want more!

The one thing that irked me though was your use of "Jou." His surname (family name, what some countries have as the "last name," like Smith or Jones) is Jounouchi. Not his given name. NO ONE BUT HIS SISTER AND MAI CALL HIM "KATSUYA." Not even Yuugi, his best friend. And it's incredibly rude -unthinkable almost- to shorten someone's family name to a nickname. Not even Kaiba would do it. He's rude enough by not using honorifics with someone's name (e.g. -kun or -san). But Jounouchi's own friends would definitely not call him "Jou." Keep in mind that Japanese names do NOT work the same way as other names, and Jounouchi =/= Joe. Sure, his name in the dub might be "Joey," but no one calls Jounouchi "Jou."

Very nice, and quite picturesque. To be accurate, though, it isn't Azureshipping, since it isn't Kaiba, but Priest Seto, which is the primary reason why I'd forgive the "rushed" feeling of the relationship you mentioned in your endnotes.

But there were a few things that threw me out of the story, despite me recognizing it as an AU: why would you have a perfectly plausible Egyptian name for Anzu's father, but not his wife, or Anzu herself, for that matter? I understand wanting Anzu to be the recognizable one, but why "Sheila" for her mother? It makes no sense. The other thing was quite small, but jarring enough to get my attention: Anzu eating a peach. Even if you do an AU of the Egyptian period of YGO, it was still the 18th dynasty, more or less-- before the Romans came in, and therefore, before peaches were introduced to Egypt. If you can do the research to include proper Egyptian terms like 'palette' and 'divan,' I think knowing the fruits Egypt had access to at the time would be just as easy. Point in fact, it could be easily changed to any number of things, such as melon, fig, date, pomegranate...

I'd love to see some "inbetween" scenes that weren't included here, like why Anzu so readily falls in love. Sure, she's a workaholic and has only known villagers, rather than people of her own class, but that doesn't mean she'd be unworthy of showing to the Pharaoh and his Priest. Plus, she seemed so eager with Seto on the night of the Pharaoh's birthday-- like she knew exactly what she wanted and what to do! That really surprised me, more than Seto "seducing" her the way he did. I would have expected her to be scared or even indignant, given her personality.

Overall, I really liked it-- pretty romantic, very descriptive. I loved Atemu's sense of humor and Hepshut's bumbling.
