I always wanted to try drawing something underwater so contest: "Here They Be Mermaids" here on Fanlib inspired me to draw this one. /Sketch cleaned up and colored in Photoshop.

I can't really explain it but I kind of fell in love with the dude in ladies shoes when I saw him at The Copenhagen Pride Festival a couple of summers ago. He is just the sassiest guy ever, strutting his stuff down Nørrebrogade with a drink in his hand in great style. Sometimes when I am a little down I go back to this picture and look at it - he makes me happy for some mysterious reason.

I continue dabbling in the "art" of tracing characters of Firefly to understand how they work. I know and completely agree that tracing images isn't really that hard or artistic but it surprises me how tough it is to make the characters look like themselves.
