Hi there! Um...I'm a transfer from fanfiction.net, and though I'm writing here, I'll still be writing there (though I'll post a copy of the same stories on each site). My name there is Samdum the Bouncing Hobbit, in case any of you know me. I'd like to know what you think of my writing, I mean honestly and truely. If you like it, great, if you think I need some help on certain areas, that's fine, too. I AM willing to admit mistakes and faults. I just really like feedback, as long as I'm not flamed just because someone hates the pairing or something. I despise ignorance, so if that's part of a review or message you send to me, it will be summarily laughed at, possibly responded to (and will make you feel about this big), and then deleted. Probably a pretty bitchy thing to do, I know, but that's how I feel about people spewing igorant crap, so don't do it if you don't want your ego crushed (for I assure you, I have no problem and lots of experience with it). If you think out your thoughts in a comprehensible and intelligent manner, however, I will respect you. Even if I don't agree with your views, I will respect you. But all in all, I'm here to make my mark on the world, whether you want me to or not. So...yeah. That's me in a nutshell.

Fandoms:
Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Dead Poets Society (which, it's just come to my attention, I'm the only one who has a story in that one T.T), and Pirates of the Caribbean. Fandoms that I still like immensly but you won't find me in: Princess Bride, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Lord of the Rings, Shakespeare, and many many others. Well, you can find an LotR fic and a Shakespeare fic if you go to my fanfiction.net account, but I won't post them here because I don't like them all that much. They are what I have fondly dubbed my "noob fics," because I wrote them two or three years ago, when I was first getting into fanfiction.

Mostly 80s stuff; Psychedellic Furs, Adam and the Ants, Big Country, Dire Straits, Stray Cats, Sting (with or without the Police, I don't care, though I prefer him solo), Brian Adams, Rod Stewart, the list goes on, though those are the major ones. Umm...also Cat Stevens/Yusef (sp?) Islam, Bare Naked Ladies, MCR, Pink Floyd (70/early 80s, don't like them without Roger Waters), Led Zepplin, Megadeath, Death Cab for Cutie, Hellogoodbye, Dresden Dolls, Aquabats, U2, Simon&Garfunkle, Good Charlotte, I think y'all get the idea. ;) Pretty much anything that isn't rap/R&B/stuff like that or melt-your-face-off metal; some heavy metal, but not hard core screaming and 10-minute guitar riffs and stuff.

Corny and cliche as it is, I think above all my hero is my dad. I've never met a better man, not sure I ever will (though, my boyfriend's pretty close). Other heroes would be Leonardo DaVinci, Johnny Depp (NOT just for his looks! [though that IS a plus...] But also for his versatility when acting in roles and his open-mindedness...and complete contempt for celebrity), Albert Einstein, Cary Grant, and Audry Hepburn.
