From the point of view of a reader who has yet to actually watch a single episode of Gilmore Girls, but who has now seen quite a few video clips sent to them by a certain someone, ahem, I think you've captured the quirkiness that seems to be characteristic of the series quite nicely so far. I think it can be very difficult to write humorously in one's own mother tongue, never mind in a foreign language, but you have done very well.

I'm currently up to Chapter 11 at the moment and I've already lost count of the times I burst out laughing. The whole Monte Christo thing was quite hysterical. The way Lorelai was winding Luke up about the new menu and deliberately ordering an 'obsolete' item she had never had the slightest inclination to order while it was still available, was priceless.

It's funny too, how daughter appears to be more responsible than mother, lol. What would Lorelai do without Rory to take care of her? Rory had to point out that the allergy pills her mom had taken from her room were 'like from '98.'

Well so far I think you're doing a great job with this story and you certainly have me chuckling.

Wow, her hair is amazing in this picture. I love how you kept it really light, almost like she has a light around her. Nice job!

As some people who know a lot me may tell you, I know nothing about GG.

However, it's fun to read outside your fandom. I've loved Java's GG Drabble groups, so I figured, why not read more of her favorite fandom? There are a lot of amused reviews on this story (though it's very long.)

Anyway, here's my review for chapter one:

You know, instead of doing - It's closed, he said, not looking up. I would use quotation marks and say "It's closed," he said, not looking up.

However, different ways in different cultures I guess.

She was being quiet, an ability he never knew she had. Hahaha. That part made me want to laugh. However, being it is 11:37 PM and everybody else asleep, I sadly couldn't.

I think there should be question marks here: - Got anything stronger?, - Should I be worrying?, and - What are you waiting for?

I guess it's a little late to be worrying about chapter one things though.

I must admit that I pictured this chapter to be a little different when I saw the title. As they all say though, you can't judge a book by its cover. (Or title. ;))

Good chapter one and I plan to try to read more... sometime!
