Good thing Gordon had John's help in impressing the natives. I could easily visualize their reluctance to enter the big Thunder-god-bird, but good thing Virgil was there to help save Gordon from his impetuous plans. Seems like everything else is also coming back to some semblance of normal, even for those reality show people. :) Looking forward to more.

and had to laugh at the family the Jeff encounters on the ship. What a weird sense of normalcy he's getting compared to what the rest of his family is experiencing right now. Can't wait to find out how well Gordon gets on with the in habitants of that island. I hope they aren't too hungry. :P

I'm up to chapter 15 so far, and just wanted to drop a line to say that I love this piece and how you effortlessly blend storylines together with the disaster, the boys and their rpg, and the survival show. Everything has come alive with the power of your descriptions, and I have to say, I wouldn't want to encounter a GM like Alan anytime soon, the sneaky so and so. Good job. :)
