Sakura has found herself shrouded in darkness with little light. She remebers nothing and is all alone...or at least that's what she thinks. Sakura is desperate to become stronger and so she leaves Konoha. Later Sasuke comes back after defeating Itachi or so he thinks and finds out that Sakura has left. Sasuke encounters Sakura a few times before he ever returns to Konoha but he doesn't recognize her because of her drastic changes. Now that Sakura has changed, Sasuke can barely affect her.
