I remember reading this on I think LiveJournal or FanFiction.Net. The story is still good the second time around. Grissom didn't pay attention to Sara for years, only seeming to see her when he had to. And Sara took that behavior, tried to deal with it. This story seems to really address that annoying canon reality. It does a really good job at that in fact. Warrick's characterization, his relationship with Sara, that also makes sense because you made it make sense. Added to that goodness of dealing with characterization and canon beautifully, this story doesn't have any glaring mechanical problems and the style, the voice, they add to and compliment the story. It makes for complete all around goodness.

It was really sad to see Sara so deep in despair, but the two of them together is sweet, especially in that first part of a relationship when you are not really sure what is happening.
