Statement:
In Blade Runner, humans feel the aching pain of emotions they don't want. Replicants feel the painful ache for emotions they don't have. Writing about people is always emotions and pain . . . either the presence or the lack of it. When I write, I try to see things from all sides. I watch the story unfold in front of me like a film. I walk around in it, taste it, smell it, feel it and then write. Rendering a believable image in the mind can be as much about writing the shadows as writing the light.
Fandoms:
Star Wars, Blade Runner, Interpretive Writing, Original Fandom
Music:
Symphony Film Scores (Batman Begins, Field of Dreams, The Glass Menagerie, The Fabulous Baker Boys, Star Wars, Schindlers List and many more), Baroque Classical, Chopin, Some Classic Rock, Native American Flute, Drum Circles.
Heroes:
Phillip K. Dick, Joseph Campbell, J.R.R.Tolkien, Andre Kertesz (photographer), Ridley Scott, anyone who devotes the time to learn a musical instrument. (I have always wanted to learn to play piano - someday I will)

Andre Kertesz Image - Budapest, 1914
This is the fifth in a series of short pieces inspired by the accompanying images. At some point along my journey, I was given a book of Andre Kertesz' black and white photographs. Some of them spoke to me, urging their untold stories to be heard. I simply tried to listen.

Use the Force, YEAH BABY!
This is a photoshopped image I created one Halloween, as I developed this knock-off hybrid character as the inspiration for my costume for a costume party.
