Buffy and Angel take the third trial and manage to return to the Hyperion Hotel just in time to help the others fend off the horde of ravenous demons. In the aftermath of the battle, Buffy and Angel explore the city. Buffy asks Angel about his trip to Rome at this time just as they encounter a mysterious messenger with an ominous message for them.
